Do you have trouble reading the small words in a book? Have you tried the large print versions or even audio books? Marion County Council on Aging has supported these collections through their grants to be used for services or projects that benefit Marion County residents age 60 and older. Large print and audio books are primarily used by individuals who like the bigger text or have a problem with their eyesight or prefer listening to a book. We thank Marion County Council on Aging for their support. BookMarket to offer Saturday hours. The BookMarks BookMarket is open regular hours again and they are looking to add one Saturday a month to the schedule. The first scheduled Saturday will be June 11 from 10am to 1pm. Check their calendar for scheduled dates and times. Thank you to those who donated gently used books to Marion Public Library. These donations allow for a great selection of books to be available in the BookMarket on an ongoing basis. Donations are always being accepted whenever the Library is open.
