Most of these were created over the pandemic months from the many books the staff has read. Building a literacy foundation Ohio Governor's Imagination Library wants all eligible children 0 to age 5 throughout Ohio to be registered in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. When a child is registered for Marion Imagination Library, their first book is The Little Engine That Could and their last book is Ready For Kindergarten . At the right is a look at the first 12 books a child will receive in the first year if starting at age 0. We want ALL Marion County children from age 0-5 to have a strong literacy foundation and be prepared for school, so please spread the word.
