Eclipse Family Fun - On the Road!
Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 am
Program Location - River Valley Liberty Elementary, 1932 Whetstone River Rd N, Caledonia, OH
This Family Fun event combines a presentation about eclipses and the science of space, an interactive story, and a visit with our big blue owl, Swoop! With the help of students from the Aerospace Engineering and Biomedical Engineering programs of OSU, we'll give a large-scale model of eclipses, followed by hands-on activities to explain the first concepts of space, moon phases, and gravitational pull.
Have a question about the eclipse? Use the special "Ask a Scientist!" mailbox in the library kids area - we'll pick questions to answer at our two off-site programs!
***Attendees will receive one free pair of solar eclipse glasses while supplies last!
Coordinator: Whittney
