Pumpkin Painting Challenge

Book-themed pumpkin painting contest.
Rules for the Pumpkin Painting Contest:
- Entries can be done on real pumpkins, fake pumpkins, or pumpkin shaped things (i.e. wooden cut-outs, paper shaped ones), but the theme must be based on a book of your choosing.
- Any medium (paint, marker, crayon, etc.) may be used to decorate the pumpkin.
- No extra materials that are not attached to the pumpkin may be added (i.e. props or other items)
- Entries must be brought in to the library and photographed by a staff member, then taken home with participant (ANY items left with us will be disposed of and not displayed). No electronic entries will be accepted.
- All entries will be presented to the public anonymously.
- Age categories are divided as such: 0-6, 7-12, and 13-18.
- Entries will only be accepted between 9/30 and 10/19. No exceptions.
All entries should be submitted to the Kids desk located in the Kids Area. Voting will be done in person and on our Facebook page from October 21 through October 26 (ending at 8 pm on the 26); with the winner being announced on October 29. Pictures will be displayed by the front display case in the library, along with a voting box and ballots to collect your votes.
So get your creative juices flowing to make the best bookish pumpkin. May the gourds be ever in your favor!
