Library Cards
Getting and using your library card
Applications are available at all locations. Bring a piece of identification with your name and current address printed on it (driver’s license or utility bill, for example).
- Patrons 18 and older qualify for an unrestricted library card. This card allows access to all library materials.
- Patrons age 12 – 17 qualify for a unrestricted minor's card. This card allows access to all materials in the library, with the exceptions of DVDs, Videos, and Framed Art.
- Children ages birth – 12 can get also get an unrestricted library card. A parent or guardian may restrict the library card for a child under 12 to materials in the Youth Dervices Department. When the child turns 12, a restricted card will be changed to unrestricted status.
