Books, census microfilm, and some audiovisual materials are available with this service. Materials may be requested in person or by calling the Patron Services Desk at (740) 387-0992. Requests may take up to 3 weeks to be filled. The patron will be notified by phone when a request is filled or unfilled. Interlibrary Loan materials must be checked out in the name of the patron making the request. Microfilm never leaves the building. No renewals on interlibrary loan items.
If you are 60 or older you can register for your Ohio Department of Aging Golden Buckeye Card at the library. You can register for this card at the Patron Services Desk of the main library or at any branch library. Please bring identification that confirms your age. Getting and using your library card
Library cards can be obtained at any of Marion Public Library's branch locations. A valid photo ID and current address are required to register for a library card. If the address listed on your photo ID is not current, any piece of identification or mail with your name and address will be acceptable.

Library staff members are happy to answer basic computer usage questions. Staff members cannot provide in-depth assistance or tutoring in the computer center.

All prints cost .10 per page. Patrons are responsible for previewing print jobs, there will be no refunds for misprints.
Your library card application is a contract, so please read this information carefully. There is no charge to borrow materials from Marion Public Library, provided they are returned on time and in good condition. To check out items, you must present your library card or photo ID.
