Your library card application is a contract, so please read this information carefully. There is no charge to borrow materials from Marion Public Library, provided they are returned on time and in good condition. To check out items, you must present your library card or photo ID.

Marion Public Library's newsletter, the Wire, is published on the 15th of each month. It includes information about library programs and events. Copies of the Wire can be picked up at the main library and its branches in Caledonia, LaRue and Prospect.

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Marion Public Library organization was formed in 1974.  The Friends encourage community interest in the Library and give financial support for Library projects.  Fund raising is done chiefly through an annual book sale, usually held in June.
