What is it?
We will deliver library materials to your residence every two weeks or once per month depending on your needs. You can tell us your general preferences for library materials, or give us specific requests and we will strive to fulfill them. Marion Public Library provides this service free of charge to adults living within the city limits who have difficulty visiting the library or who live in a retirement or nursing home.
Books, census microfilm, and some audiovisual materials are available with this service. Materials may be requested in person or by calling the Patron Services Desk at (740) 387-0992. Requests may take up to 3 weeks to be filled. The patron will be notified by phone when a request is filled or unfilled. Interlibrary Loan materials must be checked out in the name of the patron making the request. Microfilm never leaves the building. No renewals on interlibrary loan items.
If you are 60 or older you can register for your Ohio Department of Aging Golden Buckeye Card at the library. You can register for this card at the Patron Services Desk of the main library or at any branch library. Please bring identification that confirms your age. This can be a driver’s license or state identification card. More information
